🌅 Sunset in Salalah – The Sacred Resin Symphony
Where the mountains of Dhofar kiss the Arabian Sea, and where ancient trade winds still whisper through the incense trails of millennia, lies Salalah—the legendary cradle of the world’s most precious frankincense.
A land protected by UNESCO, where the Boswellia sacra trees rise like guardians of time, offering a resin so sacred that it shaped empires, rituals, and the history of perfumery.
Sunset in Salalah is my tribute to this mythical land—
a perfume built around the complete spectrum of frankincense, captured through six rare and masterful extractions/distilations.
Together, these layers form an olfactory panorama of Salalah itself—from the sun-scorched cliffs where the resin bleeds gold, to the cool monsoon winds of the khareef turning the desert green for a fleeting moment.
A grounding resinous foundation that amplifies every facet of frankincense above it.
With this creation, I have achieved a full incense spectrum—
from green citrus tears to sacred temple smoke, from honeyed balsamic shadows to mineral terpenic clarity. A composition shaped with devotion, precision, and profound respect for the miraculous resins of Salalah.
